11 Hallin Park - Overview
This cottage is in a very different environment from the Storr Lochs Lodge, set in a small crofting community, and yet in plenty of space from neighbours.
The area is much less hilly, with spectacular views West across off-shore islands and on clear days the outline of the Outer Hebrides visible in the distance.
Waternish is excellent for less strenuous walking, cycling and browsing along the shore line. It is one of the parts of Skye that is particularly abundant with wild-flowers.
The nearby fishing village of Stein, has Skye's oldest pub and an excellent sea-food restaurant serving locally caught fish. Boat trips may be made from here. Waternish is particularly known for its craft shops and potteries.
The cottage has two bedrooms, one quite small with a double bed, and a larger room with twin beds.
There is very little through traffic around the Waternish peninsula, enabling visitors to enjoy the peace and quiet of Skye.
